June 24 / 20 – Fairness – Treating everyone in a just and accepting manner.

To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.
Proverbs 21: 3

Ever felt life’s not fair? Just the other day during a game my grandchild hollered to his

sibling, “That’s not fair, you cheated.” Sound familiar? Sometimes I want to holler that

sentiment to another adult with whom I am admittingly envious. We have all been given

different gifts but most of us want what we don’t have. It’s a sinful world with sinful

people. I don’t think of it this way but fairness properly defined is freedom

from dishonesty, bias, and injustice. It’s a choice, it’s your choice.

Peace to you.
