Apr.26: “We need others to need us; that doesn’t make us weak. It makes us human.” – writer Topher Kearby

WeNeedOthers

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.”                                                                                                                                                                                      – Hebrews 10:24-25

As a society we have many  resources at our finger tips. In a support group, members provide each other with various types of help, usually nonprofessional and nonmaterial, for a particular shared, usually burdensome, characteristic. Members with the same issues can come together for sharing coping strategies, to feel more empowered and for a sense of community. The help may take the form of providing and evaluating relevant information, relating personal experiences, listening to and accepting others’ experiences, providing sympathetic understanding and establishing social networks.

They include- Nurse, wife, mother, florist, nana, writer, custodian, and now blogger. With these vocations have come many life experiences.
