Apr.5: “The biggest communication problem is we do not listen to understand, we listen to reply.” via behappy.me

MeAutoShow copyWhere is the Hope? Well the good news is we have two ears and only one mouth. However we need to use them in that ratio.

I grew up given the wisdom- “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.” My kids will vouch for me passing that along to them as well.

If you think you have never hurt others with your tongue… you better check for a pulse.

The evil of our selfish hearts and tongue can be controlled by our own will power for only a short time. We just cannot be successful left to our own devices. Our words can make or break any situation. Only when the Spirit is in us and we are convicted can we begin to tame the tongue! For me it will be an ongoing battle.

“But no one can tame the tongue; it is a restless evil and full of deadly poison.” James 3:8 (NAS)

Grace to you.

The meanings are not new their counterparts can be found in the reliable book of life, the Bible. We were made for community so let's build each other up with hope and encouragment.
