Mar. 8 -“A grudge is one thing that doesn’t get better when nursed.”- guideposts reader Kathleen H. Burks

The person probably wouldn’t even remember the incident and here I was robbing my peace by thinking it up again.

Where is the Hope?  Forgiveness is not about the other person. Forgiveness is God’s gift to us to release us from the control of someone who has hurt us. When we hold a grudge, we give them power over our emotions, robbing ourselves of inner peace.

“You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the sons of your people, but love your neighbour as yourself”   Leviticus 19:18 (NAS)

Don’t let a grudge rob your peace. Remember forgiveness is  for yourself.

Grace to you.
