Want to scratch the surface for hope? Have you ever worried about something? Of course, we all do. Have you ever worried that you have nothing to worry about? I hope not. We can tell ourselves that there won’t be a single hour added to our lives because of worry. We know on our death beds our desire will not be wishing we had spent more time in our lives worrying.
For some it’s very difficult. Try to be thankful, sometimes we may have to stop and really make an effort. Our nature is to find the negative, somehow it’s easier, and it always seems to take more effort to find the positive. Read and think on good things. I read someplace where we can only hold a single thought at a time. So…decide to make it a good thought. And pray, we can’t do on our own.
“For God has not given us the spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.” Timothy 1:7 (NAS)
