Oct.5- Kindness is in our power even when fondness is not.

Want to scratch the surface for hope? The point is there are people out there that we don’t and won’t be asking for their company in any shape or form, any time soon. Have you ever crossed the street to avoid someone? Shamefully, I have. This type of behaviour just adds to the negative attitude.

We’re told to told to love one another. This doesn’t mean an emotional connection but a conscious act of will to put the well being of others above our own. Obviously we can’t do this on our own. If left to our own devices we will convince ourselves that person doesn’t deserve our kindness because blah, blah, blah. We actually rob ourselves of peace.

We were given brains to discern and the freedom to make choices. “Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as Christ also has also forgiven you.” Ephesians 4:32 ( NAS)

About bshiveofhope

I have been lead to hold a number of differnt occupations over my working years. Surprisingly, most of which I could have never forcast for myself. They include- Nurse, wife, mother, florist, nana, writer, custodian, and now blogger. With these vocations have come many life experiences. I love catchy words and phrases. They are easy to remember and when shared can be a source of encouragement and hope. The meanings are not new their counterparts can be found in the reliable book of life, the Bible. We were made for community so let's build each other up with hope and encouragment.
